I found a link to this video in the comments left for Fake Steve about a music video set entirely in the Mac OS X desktop. It's a really neat little production (as is the one FSJ links to) - I remember doing something similar years ago (for an REM song, probably) with the intention of sending it to *INFO, but somebody beat me to it with a karaoke version of Tubthumping. I'll add it to my list of interesting things to implement at some point, perhaps as a way of learning Core Animation.
